Handroid Study Highlights Hardware Modularity Between Dexterous Hands and Humanoid Bodies
Published on July 17, the Handroid study introduced a platform in which the same 27-degree-of-freedom electromechanical system can be reconfigured as either a dexterous robotic hand or a tabletop humanoid. The system provides a shared control framework for teleoperation, grasping, in-hand manipulation, locomotion and robot learning.
